New to Danville or moving across town?
Apply for water, sewer and trash service here!
To begin Water/Sewer/Trash Service, please download and complete the Application for Service and return to the City of Danville Utilities Department at 445 W Main Street, Danville, KY. or e-mail the application.
Deposits will be required prior to connection.
Once your application is processed, you can expect next-business day connection.

Applicants are required to provide a copy of their driver's license or government-issued ID.
For renters - you must present a copy of your lease.
Please call 859-238-1200, option 1 and 2 for assistance.
Once your application is received, a member of the Utility Department staff will contact you regarding your deposit. Deposits must be paid prior to connection.
Once you have received your account number, it is encouraged, not required, to register your account with InvoiceCloud, the online portal for managing your account and payments.

- Payments are due on the 10th each month.
Bills are automatically mailed through a third-party each month. Failure to receive your bill in the mail does not relieve liability. Please contact the USPS If you are experiencing mail delays. - How to enroll - Autopay (PDF) (Customers who were previously enrolled in ACH (automatic payments) will not be required to re-enroll. However, those customers will need to register or contact the water department at 859-238-1200, option 1 and 2, to change any payment information in the future.)

In addition to billing notifications from Invoice Cloud, it is encouraged that you sign up to receive notifications from the City of Danville regarding things like Boil Water Advisories, road closures, etc.
