Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a program that mails FREE books to children in the community, from birth-5 years, each month. The program is free for the families who participate but must be supported by local donations. This month, Heart of KY Kids, Boyle County Public Library, and Plaid Elephant Books are teaming up to raise funds to support the program in Boyle County through a fun Read-a-thon!
The City of Danville is aiming to become part of the Vision Zero Network and has developed at safety action plan with the goal of eliminating traffic fatalities and serious injuries in the City of Danville by 2050.
During the March 11th City Commission Meeting, the Danville 911 Center and Danville City Commission presented citizen, Kacey Lanham, with the Outstanding Citizen Award for Extraordinary Life-Saving Action.
