The City of Danville Cemetery Committee has reviewed and proposed to update the Danville Cemeteries rules and regulations. The proposed updates have not been yet been passed or approved by the City of Danville Board of Commissioners (City Commission) at this time as the City Commission has requested a 90-day period for public comment. Please review and provide your comments by Thursday, July 10, 2025.

Water tank painting is a crucial step in extending the life of a water tank, preventing corrosion, and maintaining water quality. The tank on "tower hill" (behind Chick-fil-A) was cleaned and painting, inside and out, as part of a regular maintenance schedule of the City of Danville Municipal Utilities' tanks.
Community leaders, elected officials, and aviation advocates gathered on May 28th to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of a newly constructed access road to the Danville-Boyle County Airport (Stuart Powell Field – DVK).
