[ARCHIVED] Boil Water Advisory - City of Perryville

Danville

A boil water advisory is scheduled to be issued Wednesday 5-25-22 until further notice for all water customers that reside west of the Boyle County Fire Department, Company 2 property located near 9445 Perryville Road.  This is due to waterline maintenance activities along the US 150 corridor.  This boil water advisory includes all residents of the City of Perryville, as well as surrounding customers just outside Perryville city limits along Harrodsburg Road, Battlefield Road, Hayes-May Road, Springfield Road, South Buell Street, and Mitchellsburg Road.   Some customers in the vicinity of the project may experience temporary low-pressure conditions or discolored water. This boil water advisory is being implemented per regulatory protocol. Notification will be provided when the advisory is lifted.

Bring all water to a rolling boil, let it boil for three (3) minutes, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water.  Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice.  Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms that may be present in the water.

If you have any questions, please call the Danville Water Treatment Plant at 859-238-1241.
