Fall Open House Celebration

We're hosting a Fall Open House Celebration this Saturday, October 21st from 1-6pm in our new Art Studio space at 409 West Main Street. We'll have some fun activities out back at the Art Park, a pottery demonstration from 1pm-3pm, and open doors to our new Art Studio space! We encourage community members to tour the first floor of our new building that includes a kids' educational center where we'll conduct the majority of our children's programming. Also opening that day will be FERN Curated Gifts ––our new retail space home to a carefully selected collection of hand-crafted treasures by talented regional, national, and international artists. Starting this Saturday, the Art Studio will host "Open Studio" hours every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for the community to pop in, select an art project of their choosing for a small fee, and spend an afternoon accessing their inner artist.

Chess Club

A dedicated time and place for a friendly game of intellect and strategy. Our collection of boards will be set up and ready for you in the library's Reading Room. (All ages and skill levels welcome.)
