Congratulations to Danville Police Department Captain J. Mullins on obtaining the coveted Intermediate Law Enforcement Officer certificate through the Career Development Program through the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council. The voluntary program rewards specialty certificates based on an individual's education, training and experience as a peace officer. To earn the distinction, Captain Mullins had to complete 160 hours of in-service training in technical skill development and human skill development in addition to the requisite Peace Officer Professional Standards (POPS) certificate. He has been with the Danville Police Department since August 2013. Way to go!
