Saturday Storytime presented by Centre Athletics

We're thrilled to announce....Saturday Storytime is back! The Centre College Bookstore and the Athletic Department have teamed up to reignite Storytime in a fun new way. On select Saturdays throughout Spring, current Centre student athletes will come together to read to local children in the area to build on the concepts of teamwork, leadership, communication, and trust. Join us at the Centre College Bookstore Saturday Feb. 11th, March 11th, April 1st, and April 29th from 11am-12pm to help your kids develop a love for books and coloring while making new friends and learning important life lessons together!

 

Teamwork - Saturday February 11th

     “Little Blue Truck” by Alice Schertle

Leadership - Saturday March 11th

FAQs = What happens during Saturday Storytime?

• Current Centre student athletes' will use their platform as a role model to encourage concepts of Teamwork, Leadership, Communication, and Trust.

• Read a book from approved book options (above) and discuss the book’s important life lessons.

• Engage in a coloring activity with participants built around those concepts. 

 

Recommended for ages 5-8. Registration required.   Limit: 20 per event
