Legislative and Executive consists of the Board of Commissioners and administrative staff such as City Manager, City Clerk, and City Engineer. The Board of Commissioners is responsible for establishing city policies, passing ordinances, and a yearly budget.

The City Manager is the Chief Executive/Administrative Officer of the City. The Manager exercises the executive powers and functions delegated by ordinance and state law.  The Manager is directly responsible to the Board of Commissioners and through supervision of all staff to carry out the policies and ordinances of the city, and administer all city operations.
